Korean Air redemptions with Virgin Points

I’ve noticed that not all Korean Air routes are showing/available via the Virgin Atlantic web site. LHR > ICN and SIN > ICN both show award availability but DPS > ICN – which is definitely a route flown by Korean Air – is showing no availability for any date in any class as far as I can see. I can find award availability with Korean Air directly but this doesn’t appear on Virgin. Any thoughts?

I think you’re right. KA appear to be restricting award availability on this route as I can’t find anything via Flying Blue too. Pity as I was looking forward to trying out KA. My fallback now for an award booking on this route is Singapore Airlines with a stopover in Changi airport…can’t complain really!
