Hi – any hotel recommendations for KL?
Rates are quite cheap in general relatively. Free brek with Hilton + IHG but not married to them.
Coming with a 2Yo kid so play area useful. I’ve been suggested to stay near Pavilion Mall, what do you think?
The Hilton opposite the station certainly used to be a good call, so you just get the train into the city then have the hotel right there. It’s also across from quite a big park and has a nice pool area, which I think is fairly shallow (as in OK for you to stand in & hold the 2yo, rather than the 2y being able to stand up!)
However what I have found with hotels in KL is that they seem to build them then just let them get run down, rather than doing massive refurbs on them. As this place must be nearly 20 years old, I have no idea what state it’s now in although the prime location might help.
