Forums Other Destination advice Laidback, luxury night away in / around London

Hi all, looking for some advice for a luxurious, but not stuffy, hotel for a night away from the kids. Location wise south or west of London, or even central London. Been looking at the Langham, Four Seasons Hampshire, the Langley etc. looking for somewhere to have a relaxing, refreshing break. Also looking for a pool which will have a reasonable period of no kids allowed. Stay will be in next month or so. All advice very welcome. Thanks in advance.

They may a bit further than you like, but have a look at The Pig Hotels. No pool though.

Four Seasons Hampshire sounds good. Although @Rob has commented recently regarding price increases and availability of late check-out.

What has changed with the availability of late check out? Are they not honouring FHR guaranteed late check out?

Coworth Park meets your criteria and I think more luxurious than other hotels mentioned yet is remarkably relaxed and food is superb. Spa/pool (in the grounds, not attached to the hotel) isn’t something that interests us, but those who have used it say it’s excellent and only has limited hours for children.

Haven’t stayed yet, but in town, the PanPacific is looking nice!
