Hi now I have booked my flights to KL thanks to this site I am unsure which of the above to book as both cost the same amount in points with the 5 for 4 nights Marriott, I am titanium elite and know I will get free breakfast with the St Regis but should that sway me? Anyone who has stayed at both would love to hear your thoughts and might be useful for others who haven’t been before but might need help after booking BA flights? FYI I haven’t stayed at either brands so unsure what to expect?

Or pay at least 90% less by staying at the beachfront Best Star on Pantai Cenang.
Use the saving to buy lunch for the entire native population of the island at Scarborough fish & chips up by the Four Seasons.

    Just throwing that out there.

Ritz for me especially if you have kids (kids club). Hard product is in better shape.

St Regis had slightly better service, more usable beach and you are more likely to be upgraded to a room with a pool.

To be honest, I am not rushing back to either. Better to fly to phuket or bali from KUL if you want to plonk yourself by a beach resort.

Very pleased to see someone else who likes Scarborough Fish and Chips!

Thanks but we normally go to Thailand but fancied a change so I’m open to suggestions?
