Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Late requalification due to credit delay – experiences?

Ostrich is pleasantly mileage running along. We are well (and I mean well) over the required segments, but keep booking extra daytrips for a museum here or an antiquarian bookshop there. I haven’t taken this many vacation days in years. Never have the time, now we are making time. But at some point in the beginning there was a reason to all of this statusmatching and backpacker-style shenanigans: OW Emerald and exploring the Middle East with RJ in the near future.

Ostrich has questions. RJ has diligently credited each segment exactly two weeks after each flight till late January (pre-run flights). Ever since I started up again this month, the crediting has ceased. I’ve done the retroactive claims and gotten the standard confirmation mails that crediting would happen within 1-3 business days. (Also I’ve not been able to use the retro claim form for certain obscure Spanish airports as they are not in the drop down list.)

Does anyone here have experience (BA or other OW carrier) with retroactive requalification into the next membership year due to crediting delays? I built a time margin for a reason, but I have no clue what’s going to happen. I personally never had to requalify so late, so no idea what’s next.

P.S. I’ve provisionally saved a boarding pass, electronic receipt & amadeus PNR confirmation for each flight just in case I need something or the other down the line.

It doesn’t matter about BA or other carriers, it’s purely about how RJ manage this. No idea I’m afraid though I think you’re far from alone at doing this now, so hopefully someone can advise
