My flight BA1328 LHR-NCL has been cancelled on 29/04 at 13:35. Received the cancellation on 16/04 at 17:27.
2 closest rebooking offered are currently 07:25-08:35 and 18:30-19:45. Am I correct in thinking the earlier will get me £110 compensation and the latter, £220? Also am I able to expense replacement train tickets to LHR to them?
Do I need to take screenshots of the flights offered? A flight exists only 2hrs after the original but is not being offered, I think it’s full.
Thanks!
BA in theory can rebook to the train – LNER has 9B codes that can be used, not sure if that is an option unless it’s an on the day type situation though.
Another option is just to wait, the 3.15pm does look full currently but it may be swapped to an A320/A321 or other people changing plans, so availaiblity may open up
Otherwise take screenshots as you say and then put in your compo claim
