Our flight is scheduled to land in T2 on a Saturday at 10.15 – we want to get to The Shard. Approximately how long might it take from landing to getting to the tube station? Is Elizabeth/Jubilee (journey time 1 hour) the best way to get there. Thank you for any guidance.
Lizzie to Moorgate and switch to the Northern line maybe? 48 minutes including 6 minutes on foot.
Bags, no bags ? Any mobility issues – if not that the answer by CORB is absolutely the correct one – you’ll want to stay at the end the lifts take you down to the EL platform at T2/T3 Central to make the switch at Moorgate slightly easier.
Thank you both for the replies. No bags to collect. Have booked assistance for older person travelling with us for departure from Dublin, if not too far/stressful she could walk to the station. Brunch at The Shard is on her bucket list, so wondering what time to book for.

I would book for 12:30 or 1 just encase the plane is delayed.
Re morgate, watch this video, it’s a strange station and depending on the end of the train you get on, could be a very short or long walk
In terms of within Heathrow, the passenger assistance *should* take you to your departure point from the station, I.e the nearest Lizzie line station. That’s if they turn up and if they’re not being lazy

Should and a CTA arrival being directly above their base might not go hand in hand.
I’m going to suggest that as you’ve got someone who might find walking a bit too much that you get a Taxi from Farringdon. Why not Liverpool St or Moorgate, I hear you ask – well they are both a bit of a trek from the platform and on a Saturday, Moorgate will bet quiet so less cabs.
There is always the 40 bus as well.
