Travelling to Ljubljana from T3 in a few days time. Flying BA club Europe with 2 adults and 1 lap infant (14 months). Both adults are BA silver.
We usually fly from T5 and use the children’s play area in the Lounge which is great to tire him out before the flight. Is there anything similar in T3? I understand we can use the BA galleries business lounge, Cathay Pacific, Qantas and we can also have access to Centurion with Platinum Amex. I have only been to the Centurion one before in T3. Couldn’t find any further details in the reviews on here for which would be best with an infant.
    Any info appreciated.

I don’t believe any of them have play areas (although it’s not something I’ve looked out for).

Both the Qantas and BA lounges are quite big – space for running and he could do laps upstairs in the Qantas lounge. Cathay is a bit smaller, but does have views of the tarmac (as does BA) which may entertain him for a bit.

I’ve not tried the AA or Centurion lounges, so can’t comment

Qantas lounge has a family room upstairs. It’s not the most thrilling space, but it has toddler-sized table and chairs and a few simple activities (and a TV).

There are kids zones in the BA lounges, pretty similar to the T5 ones – note that there is one in Galleries First, unlike T5.

    From HfP review

That said, my then one year old thought the noodle bar at the CX lounge was the most fun and was particularly taken with the order buzzer.

I don’t think there’s anything notable at the AA lounges, although older children would appreciate the pick n mix and ice cream.

Excellent info, thanks so much. Looks like we’ll head to Qantas first for food and if he’s happy enough there we’ll stay put & if not we can always head to the BA Galleries as a backup.
    Thanks again!

If you can get one of the armchairs in front of the huge windows in the Cathay lounge, there are great views of planes moving around/being loaded at the gates and taking off/landing. It kept me entertained for a couple of hours last summer!

I’d forget the lounge and go to the Stay & Play area in T3. It’d be less stress for you worrying about noise or running around in a lounge.

Play area in T3 is next to AMEX Centurion lounge. If you’ve Platinum card you and OH can take turns and visit lounge with one pair of eyes in the play area.
