Linking BA account on Barclaycard App

When I try to track my avios, the Barclaycard app says I need to link my BAEC account (which I’ve already done). The BAEC account shows as a series of dashes. But if I select the “link account” option my BA account details are indeed there.

Is this similar to the issue that others have reported, where it takes a month before avios are transferred? As it is, the app is showing that there are avios waiting to be transferred, but it also seems to be saying there is no account to transfer them to.

I have to say, this is all very confusing compared to Amex.

Well it does seem to work despite the message on the Baclaycard app still saying I need to link my BAEC account. 5k avios have appeared in my BAEC account. No explanation of whether it’s the HfP 5k or the 5k that others have reported receiving due to the dire customer service and all the cockups.

I had the same issue where the Avios balance would only display as dashes. It only displayed my balance after activating the Avios Rewards with the premier account (and linking my BA account a second time from there)
