Looking to move away from Curve soon (metal customer) so this replaces my travel insurance and mobile phone insurance (but my policy should be a legacy cover for gadgets such as laptops)
In replacement a Monzo card can do most of Curve’s tricks
It also happens that I am looking to take out AA breakdown cover…
My question is, is it worth the switch (soon-ish) no rush to do so at £21 per month
I currently pay £15 for similar benefits.
@Carlos it may be worth having a look at Nationwide FlexPlus account – £13/month that offers travel insurance, mobile phone cover and AA cover (AA cover is only for you unless you open a joint account) and some other bits and pieces. I think they have a £125 switch offer at the moment.
Or look at the Virgin Money account with the bonus points offer at present, but that involves account switching. Moving from Curve will get you nothing and not the Nationwide offer that JDB mentioned above as I guess you need to use the switching service. My fiancé has the Lloyds platinum account and just working out to move her off it.

ah totally forgot about nationwide, in that case I am eligible to switch from my virgin account as I took the offer last time round which @Graham-Walsh mentioned above. In the @JDB suggestion it almost nets off so thats a plus
Also check out Halifax Ultimate Reward which has similar coverage to Lloyds Platinum, plus Home Emergency cover. Mobile insurance paid out on my loss claim immediately last November, replacement phone despatched next working day.
£17/month, but you can get a £5 “reward” every month by paying in £1500 and spending £500 on the debit card (credit card debit card payments and NS&I count).

The Co-operative Bank packaged account looks interesting because when travel insurance with all others, including Amex, ends at 70, theirs continues to aged 79 as standard. The usual phone and breakdown insurance also covered here for £15 a month.
