Does anyone have any insight into what’s happening with BA’s Doha flights – looks like the LGW one is cancelled in August (if not before) and wondered if it’s coming back to LHR.
ThanksMid June it’s going back to LHR for a couple of weeks and then cancelled until winter due to LGW crew shortages. Anyone booked will get transferred to Qatar (with a downgrade for anyone booked in WT+ !)
Great…booked 2x business and 1xWTP due to lack of avios availability…
I see on twitter that BA will not fly LGW-DOH this summer. Have got 2x CW booked – not sure if they would ticket on QR LHR-DOH?

In the same vein will BA let me re-route DOH-EDI?

IF you’re booked DOH-LON-EDI currently then yes. If not then I don’t think so – it’s over 300 miles and I’m not even sure that policy would apply to a rebooking on another carrier anyway. However it’s worth an ask – some people did get Phuket vs Bangkok when those flights had to be rebooked

When does Winter start for BA?
I think seasons change last week October, and last week March every year.

No such luck unfortunately – just got rebooked onto BA122/123 LHR-DOH
Looks like LGW-Islamabad is also stopping next week, last flight Tues 14 Jun. Unlike DOH, no switch to LHR with all connectivity to ISB showing via DOH. I wonder if the token daily MAN-LGW service primarily put in to feed ISB has a long term future, unless there’s a big push to sell connections MAN-LGW-Florida/Caribbean?
We’ve just had our Qatar flight changed to BA in September to LGW. Hopefully they will be flying then ?
