Is there anyone here who can help me find a reward flight (economy is fine) from London to Bogotá from now/before Christmas and back around New Year’s Eve?
I have Avíos and Virgin points, but been unsuccessful with finding anything with short notice. It ideas for routes to consider to get there.
Are you looking at LHR-BOG and seeing nothing?
I’d try MAD-BOG in case it’s an issue of no avios flights available for LHR-MAD.
Some PE and Business availability on 24th from MAD to BOG, business back from BOG to MAD on 31st Dec.

The OP could be lying in a hospital bed, hooked up to life-saving machinery right now!
Ok probably not, but at least they have some posting history. The worst are the first-post crowd who ask for urgent help/advice, but then never reappear.
I feel OP is unlikely to be flying to BOG in a few days if that were the case!
But it is a bit weird that some posters never reply after the initial query and you wonder if they even come back to see if there’s a reply!
Thank you for the tips! There seems nothing going via the USA. Virgin points prices are through the roof now. I guess there aren’t really alternatives to going via Madrid.
Well, you’ve left it very late but there should be options. For example, use avios LHR-MEX, and there are 3 airlines which connect to BOG from there. Have you checked using Virgin points on AM from MEX? We have flown with them recently and were quite impressed.
Cash prices MEX-BOG are coming in around £350-£900, not seeing any points options but the VS app looks to be playing up right now!
Also – plenty of avios availability to ATL, connect on DL?
Personally I’d be looking to avoid a USA connection unless you have global entry – clearing immigration and security again is a PITA especially around now when it’s busy / infrequent travellers
