As per the title, in July and August. including quite a few dates with 4 seats.
Jus thought I would mention it.

Following a lovely Club Suite trip to LAS last year, we declared ourselves happy with those and vowed to stick to Club Suites.

As luck would have it, I’m down to my last remaining “old” 241 voucher that can be used in F. I’ve been keeping an eye on August redemptions, in the hope a JFK return will come up also entitling a visit to Chelsea lounge.

Unfortunately, all F availablity seems to be EWR of which I’m initially put off (done it multiple times, and the 777 F is typically quite tatty and old). HOWEVER I did notice some of the EWR flights are 787, which might be the more modern F in which case worth considering.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll keep looking / SeatSpying

Can the new style BA Companion Vouchers not be used in F?

Yes, I think OP must be referring to the limitations of the old voucher, e.g. requiring max avios/min cash.

On the contrary, I’d mistakenly got it in my head that the new BA Premium Plus Companion Voucher could only be used for Club World at best. I’m wrong, but this is great news to me! Thanks for highlighting

I think I had the perfect storm of other snippets in my mind… Barclays Upgrade (which isn’t actually an upgrade) Voucher is limited to Club World at best… The new BA Premium Plus Companion Voucher opens up additional Club World seats as a bonus… BA Premium Plus Companion Voucher launched roughly around the time of Club Suites (and Club World was the big PR push)… and as NorthernLass says, there was also a bit of chatter about the devaluing / repricing, and crazy taxes by mixing F and CW.

But in summary, I was wrong – BA Premium Plus Companion Voucher can be used in First – and I may yet enjoy Chelsea Lounge some day!

Not wanting to rain on your parade but don’t forget that now RFS has been introduced, you get seriously messed up pricing if you try and throw F into the mix!

I have four rewards seats booked for the end of June using two new style 241s, took me a while to get First both ways as like you say I wasn’t paying more to go club one way.
My flights was the last one of the day going to EWR on a 787. That flight is hit and miss at the moment and lo and behold my flight was cancelled, so I’m now flying to JFK on a 777 which I think has new first.
You could always book ewr and hope for a cancellled flight or late in the day availability might open in to JFK.

Quite alright, I found that out when pricing it up… like £1.7k taxes all in!!!! Which still seems reasonable for 2x first class returns… but not against 2x Club Suites circa £900 tax all in.

    Awesome, do enjoy 🙌

We’re still not booked yet but will be taking another peak tonight. I’m thinking I’ll aim for booking Club to JFK then upgrade heater the time if F becomes available. Depending on what mad taxes / cash they demand

Is flying F on th 787 worth it over flying CS on the 777?

Especially when you have to pay £1000 extra for 2 ppl?
