Lounge access when connecting Club Europe to Economy (LHR & both BA)

Hopefully a quick & easy one

Flying BA GLA-LHR in ClubEurope then on to Nashville a few hours later in economy (all on the same booking)

Is it possible to use the BA lounge at LHR with the inbound CE boarding pass as we have a 4hr ish wait

Are you talking about your outbound or inbound journey? Obviously an *inbound* CE flight will get you same day access to the lounge, if you are referring to your return journey?

I know that if you fly business to London long haul and then have an economy short haul you are allowed into the lounge. Never heard about it the other way around, but why not, you are just showing your previous boarding pass in both cases (and what the system may be checking is that you are flying or flew business class that day).

If it’s outbound CE-Y, then no lounge access at LHR. If inbound Y-CE, then yes access at LHR. It’s not clear exactly which journey OP is referring to.
