Hi all. I’m flying back to London from Montreal today and the default BA lounge is the National Bank Lounge. Through Amex Platinum or DragonPass I can also access the Air France/KLM Lounge. I’d be grateful for any opinion on which lounge would be better and whether there are any others I might be able to access if they are better still.
Cannot comment on the AF/KLM lounge but the National Bank Lounge that BA has access to was extremely busy last October when I went through! I remember that they had one server at this tiny little bar. The poor girl serving was just inundated the whole time non stop. I’m afraid the food was not very good.
The BA lounge is also to normal credit card users.
It is picked, food is bad, toilets dirty and has no showers. To make matters worse the bar has a queue and asks for tips (you should be getting paid to be there).
If you can go somewhere else, skip this place.
Many thanks. Took your advice and utilised our platinum cards to go in to the Air France / KLM Lounge which is relatively quiet
