Lounge guest on a different flight

I’m a silver member, can I bring in a guest to the lounge who’s flying at the same time on a different flight (he’s flying Iberia)

Emerald and Sapphire members may invite one guest to join them in the lounge. The guest must also be travelling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld carrier.

Doesn’t say it has to be on the same flight and Iberia is a OneWorld flight so should fine.
