Im staying in the Grand in Paris April time. I have lounge Membership has anyone used it there and encountered any problems? Im staying on a Mastercard free night & an Ambassador voucher 241.

I’ve only heard a couple of third party comments about issues with lounge access anywhere – never met anyone who had it happen to them.
The way to avoid most issues at any hotel with a lounge is to tell reception staff on arrival at the hotel that you wish to use your pass so they can code it into your key (or sometimes give you a separate one for the lounge).
Don’t assume that they know you have the benefit or that you want to use it- that’s where most problems seem to arise.
I’ve had 5 stays in the ICPL, 4 times they had already clocked the lounge access and added it at check-in, the 5th time I needed to ask them when a question on breakfast cropped up, all on points or amb free nights
No issues in the IC BKK, Tokyo or Pattaya on a mix of paid and points stays
