Lounge use on Vueling flights

Is it possible to access the BA lounge at LGW if you’re flying on a Vueling flight? Does it make a difference if it was booked via the BA website?

For most of us, no you can’t. Vueling is not oneworld so their rules don’t apply.

Another commentator said recently there is an exception if you have a BA gold card, I’m not sure if they got lucky or if it’s a standard rule.

Makes no difference where you booked it.

PS if you haven’t booked yet, it’s usually the case that booking direct with Vueling with be vastly cheaper than BA.
