Luxury Escapes £200 off £1000

Has anyone managed to get this offer to work?

It says available at luxuryescapes.com but then says “Some payments made through certain “payment facilitators” will not be eligible and will not count towards your spend for the purposes of the Offer. A payment facilitator is an intermediary that accepts payments on behalf of the seller of the goods/services. Payment facilitators can include some online payment platforms/marketplaces, and entities that provide certain card acceptance products (such as mobile card readers) to sellers of goods/services”.

If I purchased on the app would it work? Also Should I purchase buy now (non-refundable) or free cancellation or does it not matter for this offer?

What app are you referring to?

I would buy via a browser and go via topcashback and get an additional 5.25% back as well.

The Luxury Escapes app… they offer £50 off booking through the app. Topcashback would get around £70 back if taxes are included in the calculation but it may not track.

Haven’t used this offer yet, but was considering using it for flights, as you can book flights through Luxury Escapes also. Can’t see anything in the terms which suggests its accommodation only?

Buying on app should work.
Payment facilitator refers to third parties like PayPal or Amazon pay.
If you book pay at hotel and pay directly at hotel, it won’t trigger the offer. Safer to book ‘pay now’ on their website or app.

Is there any way of being able to get two different stays in the basket and pay for them at once? I tried, but would only let me do one at a time. The particular stays I’m interested in it would only get to the £1000 if I could pay for them both at once, and I see in the terms and conditions it says a single transaction.

We added a taxi transfer to our booking to push it over the £1k mark, but if they’re significantly less then no, I don’t think it’s possible to book two hotels at once in a basket

We did a short hotel stay coming up in 3 weeks on a fully refundable rate (£1050) and the £200 was credited to my account shortly afterwards.

Fab offer considering I had already reserved with hotels before at the same rate. I miss out on some immaterial QDC cash back and the stamps but £200 in my pocket for a trip already planned was a nice little bonus.

Ps just paid for on the one card as the total just (luckily) exceeded the grand threshold.

I used this for economy flights for 4 people so split it over 2 cards in 2 separate booking. Saved £270 instead of £400 as they had £45 ABTA and booking fee so paid that twice and the flight was £10 more expensive. Even then I was happy to go with it.

Thanks. It is two different hotel stays in two different locations I’m after – they’re around £600 each for the ones I’m looking at, which is why I hoped there might be some way I could pay for them both at the same time. Seem like not though.
