Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Manage my booking (MMB) issues for two BA bookings

  • 11 posts

I have got an issue for two of my bookings whereby after adding a passenger to an existing Avios booking I am not able to access it any more (I have tried the App, the desktop version). For both bookings I have an updated e-ticket with the additional passenger yet when I go to MMB and enter booking ref + surname I get the following message: “Error. There was a problem with your request, please try again later.”

I have called BA who experience the same issue while inputing my details on MMB. While they can confirm my seats are secured all they say they can do is ‘feedback’ to their IT team however they cannot raise a proper incident with a reference number.

It really bothers me as one of the booking is long haul with has legs and I like to check/change seats as I get close to flying.

Has anyone experienced something similar and has any tips to get it resolved please?

Are these bookings made with FTVs?

Thanks for the checkmytrip tip, good to be able to see the booking and seat – there is no way to make changes though.

One was an FTV the other one a reward flight saver fresh booking (no FTV).

I have had the same issue myself with a 2-4-1 rewards booking which is long-haul CW in June. Called up multiple times and as of the last time I managed to add meal preferences etc through the EC call centre however they couldn’t understand why it wasn’t showing and IT weren’t able to help.

I’ve resigned myself to thinking I will have to manage anything through the call centre and hope for the best however I do agree that it is something that bothers me too for a long haul flight not being able to access MMB!

I also have the same issue , changed return airports on a 2-4-1 and can no longer access mmm for the return. Call centr and IT can not work out why. Just as well that they have allocated the same seats for the return but would have been nice to have the ability to change if I wanted too
