if you are eligible for BA lounge access, you will be using the Escape lounge (Fwiw) @ MAN

Yes, if you are CE or have status you should be directed to the Escape Lounge. However, when we were there in June the man behind us in the queue was turned away because he wasn’t flying on a business class ticket so you may have to argue your case if you’re getting in with silver or gold and the staff aren’t fully clued up. It’s a decent space with okay food and drink but better than the zoo that is the terminal atm. We didn’t realise at the time but apparently the tables with “reserved” signs on next to the interior windows are for BA pax. They didn’t tell us that on either of our visits this year!

Thank you for your guidance from all of you. We may try the Escape Lounge but it is not a dealbreaker.
At least on Monday we can spend as long as we like enjoying ourselves at Heathrow prior to flying to Vancouverin the late afternoon.
