Marriott annual Platinum choice benefit – no option

Advice please , just hit 63 nights with Marriott . All the nights are paid stays minus the elite night credits from Amex bonvoy card on sign up.
From checking my account on the desktop , there is no option to choose my annual benefit. I’ve clicked through the link on the help page and logged in . The message says our records show your are not eligible for an annual bonus …. either you have chosen your benefit for the year (which I havnt) or you have not hit the elite night credit threshold.
Slightly confused as I’m plat and the nights are showing on my account. I want to chose the 5 elite night credits
I reached Marriott customer services , they say I’m not eligible for the annual bonus, this is due to the Amex bonovy card 15 night credits , they don’t count , meaning I have to stay another 2 nights to get it ?
Is that correct ?
That advice would go against my past experience. I think you’re just being too quick to look. I get an email a while after passing 50 and 75 nights to choose. Using a link in said emails. But they don’t come immediately nor have I found a webpage to navigate to to choose
Hi thanks for advice . It’s been 5 days since hit the nights , under promos on my account it directed me to the following link

But when I click through and sign in .. comes up with the message on my post – emailed Marriott with the screen shots and they replied with the above about the Amex elite credits not counting
I’ve not had any email yet ?
I will move past 50 (including 15 Anex nights) after I’ve checked out of my current stay. So I will keep you updated on when my email arrives.
