Hi. I have just achieved Accor All Platinum status. Does anyone know if Marriott offer a status match or status challenge to Bonvoy Platinum Elite? I currently have Gold Elite status and have a stay at Ritz Carlton coming up in April so I’m hoping there is some way to get upgraded to Platinum.

That is a fantastic shout – I missed the Ritz Carlton bit. You are right, Ritz Carlton used to have a separate programme and Platinum gets you very little other than a few extra points. IIRC you do not get lunge access, upgrades or breakfast, Book through Emyr to get access to STARS rates (upgrades, free breakfast $100 credit etc)
