Just got Marriott Bonvoy Suite tickets for a concert at the O2 arena in London for the first time and have a few questions on how to make the most of the experience.
I saw people mentioning suite tickets come with access to VIP security lane – does this apply to the Marriott tickets as well?
Amex Lounge – someone on the forum mentioned they always go to the Amex Lounge whenever going to the Marriott box. I see on O2 suites website they mention in benefits “Get entry into the AMEX Lounge before and after the show” – again does this apply to the Marriott tickets? Does the entry to the Amex lounge come with our tickets or do we need to queue up at the guest services desk?
Thanks
Yes we always pop in amex lounge before and sometimes after (to let the crowds go down) when going to the Marriott box. You do have VIP security access (far left as you enter the O2) the Amex lounge is then on same level straight in front. If you and guest both flash an Amex card you should be given a free drink voucher each but last time I did have to ask, no need to queue at guest services beforehand. Enjoy

That’s great, thanks a lot for sharing all the details! Excited to see what it’s like to see a concert from a suite
You normally need to go to Guest Services (at 5-5:30pm to avoid queues) to get a pass each for the AMEX lounge. I think this is show dependent.
“Present your American Express Card and valid show ticket at The Guests Services Hub under the Outlet Shopping Staircase to secure up to 4 passes per Cardmember. Passes are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is recommended.”

Thanks R2! We have now attended our concert at the Marriott Bonvoy suite at O2 – great experience overall.
FYI when presenting our Amex Lounge tickets + our suite concert tickets the lounge agent informed us herself that with suite tickets there is no need to obtain Amex Lounge tickets as the access is complimentary to any suite tickets holders. Upon leaving I have confirmed that with a different lounge agent and was again informed that that is the case and in the future we are welcome to proceed to the Amex Lounge directly. Hope this helps those attending the Marriott Bonvoy suite in the future.
