Hi @tillyedwards1 – I haven’t stayed here but there is a dedicated thread on Flyertalk for this resort that is probably worth a read (albeit the most recent posts are from Sep 24) https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marriott-marriott-bonvoy/906299-sheraton-full-moon-resort-spa-maldives-master-thread-28.html.

January is traditionally one of the best months weather wise but I do know that this year there was some quite variable (indeed stormy even) weather in that month.

Points redemption at some of the marriotts can be good (transfers from Amex/buy points) but the seaplane/meals can still add up quite significantly. Not stayed at the sheraton but given its proximity to the airport, a lot of people use it as a 1 nighter if arriving late-ish to not burn a night at a more expensive hotel.

Weather wise, I have similarly heard that the weather patterns are changing and best time to go is more like feb-april.

    It’s actually pretty bad value.
If you take the full cash price and deduct seaplane transfers and food costs, the points are terrible value.
