Having wasted 4 of 5 suite upgrade vouchers in 2024 due to successive declines, I’m contemplating taking the $1,000 (~£800) discount on a Marriott mattress for my 2024 75 night award.
Has anyone here ever used this option? Did it work well? Was the mattress worth it, or are they too over priced to begin with? Was shipping to the UK an issue? And how did you decide on which brand’s mattress to purchase!?
Any advice or anecdotes gratefully received!
If I don’t go ahead with the mattress purchase I’ll probably just select the 40,000 points free night voucher, which has a pretty much guaranteed minimum £200 value. Thanks!
Sounds so risky if the shipping is not local (hence no returns?). Plus prices seems high when last I checked.
