Hi everyone, I would be grateful for some data points. I am looking to order some new glasses/sunglasses and I noticed there was a 20% off cashback offer for Maverick and Wolf on my Amex cards and my virgin Atlantic card. However, I saw a data point on TrustPilot that someone failed to get their 20% rebate from Amex as the M&W online store charged via a third party. This is obviously concerning, as designer glasses don’t come cheap, and 20% is a big rebate. Please could someone let me know if this is still the case and whether they’ve successfully had cashback from the site?
I stacked it with a 20% code and got the amex cb. However, I got a email from their finance team saying the double stack breaks the t&cs but was happy to give it to me as they were still in the green… Downside delivery for this pair could be up to 8 weeks…
Have you found the entry in their T&C’s that forbids the use of Barclaycard, Virgin Money or Amex as payment when a voucher or code is used?

Thank you, any idea how to get access to a similar code? 🙂
PAW – Card Linked Perks – 20% Rebate
Airtime – 20% Rebate
Virgin/Barclaycard – 20% Rebate
Find that 20% voucher code, and if all the rebates work, that’s a total of 68% off.
Maybe the finance team will accept 80% off for bank transfer.

Couple online and I think there is a bluelight one too
Returns policy is not particularly customer friendly too – pay your own postage and you have to write a letter. I am hesitant to use them for prescription lenses as feel like I could be in for difficult journey if things go wrong (but I have not had first hand experience so could be absolutely wrong). If you are just after frames and 100% know they fit right and are in stock, then I see no downside.
