Maximising sign-up points from UK Amex cards

Happy New Year all 🙂

With the demise of Visa credit card at Amazon UK, I thought I would embark on a new round of points collection from Amex. My wife and I previously had BA Premier Plus cards – hers was cancelled in May 19, mine in February 20. So, with the 24 month rule, we can open a new account for he now and she can refer me after Feb.

Does anyone know if it remains up to date please?

Tbe general strategy remains unchanged though the specific numbers fluctuate. eg the current bonuses are 25k not 26k for the BAPP, 30k not 35k for the Platinum.
