    When I’ve used Smart Rewards (the cashback on the MBNA cards) it’s usually paid out, as stated, at the end of the month after the spend. However it’s not paid out as stated for the last couple of months. Is this just happening to me?

    My October spend said it would pay out at the end of November. It didn’t and I called early in December to ask why it was delayed. They said they were doing some system upgrades and it’d pay out a few days later. I gave it to the end of December in case the payout would get picked up in the end December run. It didn’t and my November spend which was supposed to pay out at the end of December hasn’t paid out either.

    Will have to call them again but wondering if it’s happening to anyone else.

    To clarify, it’s the Smart Rewards which hasn’t paid out, not the overall 0.5% cashback as that did pay out annually as expected at the end of December.

    I didn’t get the cashback for an IHG stay in September. When I called them they noted it was an issue and because I had a Lloyds current account they paid it directly into that account as apparently it was quicker for them to do that rather than wait for the MBNA team to action it

    Thanks @Olly. I don’t have anything else with Lloyds so will have to pursue with MBNA. Will call again tomorrow.

    Mine seems to have paid out each month around the same date. However I also had issue with IHG cashback not appearing and had to raise it – it was raised by them, but not heard anything since
