Hi Flew to Nashville in P/ Econ in the last week – the MEDIA/SKYMAP was out for entire flight apprx 9 hrs – nothing at all no movies etc – according to crew, First had the same….Should I expect some compensation eg some Avios & or £ part refund ? What if so is is acceptable gesture from BA – no doubt those in First will get/ expect more ? Crew did announce the fault and I have written to BA cust services Thanks
You will get some avios but not any sort of cash refund.
Good luck with your claim, but I’d happily pay a small premium for a flight with no in-flight entertainment. Flights are a great chance to read a good book, I find other people’s flickering screens vaguely irritating, and I utterly despise the airlines (AA, I’m thinking of you) who ask for blinds to be pulled down so that people can watch their movies in the dark.
Count your blessings, I say.
