I’ve been trying to merge mine and my wife’s Silver Status accounts for 12 months now – only to be told they cant do it “due to a software glitch” and they will let us know when we can merge accounts.
Of course, despite reminding them 6 months ago it never happened.
We are unlikely to stay Silver so were keen to do it while we are.
Then, along came the “transfer for a tenner” scheme so we paid our £10 and moved my wife’s 330,000 points across to me.
Now, today, she has received an email from Virgin with the following:
Did you know? As a Silver member, you can set up a household account to pool your points and reach rewards faster. It’s as easy as filling out the form – what’s not to love?
So, are merged accounts back? anyone know?
I dont begrudge paying that £10 (much lol) but would be good to merge and save that hassle going forward.
I found the form to merge accounts
They actioned it within 15 minutes of pressing the send button.
Well done Virgin.
