We are embarking on a tour of SE Asia next month: EDILHRKUL(BA), KULSGN(MH), SGNBKK(VN), BKKKUL(MH), KUKLHREDI(BA). All flights are redemptions in business.
Annoyingly, but not surprisingly, each airline has slightly different luggage allowances. All relatively self explanatory until you get to the hand luggage dimensions.
Both list the max dimensions as 56x36x23 <= 115cm. Which suggests they are using linear dimensions, i.e., the sum of the dimensions must be less than 115cm. However, it can be any combination of Height x Width x Depth to get there. Is this how others interpret it?

Just bumping this up the list, just in case it got missed from last night.
@blindman67 – I’m unclear why you’ve posted connections to the same links I supplied because they are the pages which have caused my confusion.
In my experiences of travelling in Asia, if you are in business class no-one will care how big your carry on is (as long as it fits in a locker). Baggage handling in Asia is generally much better than in Europe so there isn’t the same hand luggage pressure. Obviously there is always the risk that you get an officious gate agent though.
