I have a conference in Oct. at the Hyatt Regency with ok rates, but I have no status/no b-fast, etc. (hopefully taking the little one with me, so that takes on greater importance!).
Anyone stayed there? Other options would be IC as I presume we’ll both get b/fast through my Diamond status (+ it’s v close walking), or various Hiltons.
Hilton Miami doesn’t look too gorgeous…best reviews seem to be for Hampton Inn – Brickell. And of course that avoids the whole resort fee hoo-haa.
Any personal experience gladly listened to!
Kimpton Epic was pretty good. Decent rooms. Diamond gets room upgrade and free a la carte breakfast – including any main on the menu, the priciest being lobster egg benedict. Decent location, but depends where you need to be downtown. No lounge. Kimpton password will get you a free gift randomly selected. Included a room upgrade or a scented candle when I last stayed.
