Has anyone redeemed for this at 40 nights? If so, can you confirm how it works? Suite upgrades are for a year from the date of choosing but I’ve seen on other blogs that lounge membership works in the same way as status – i.e. For the remainder of the current year and whole of the next one. Thus choosing in December seems like a bad idea.
Any insights?
It hasn’t been around long enough for anyone to test whether the almost 2 year trick will work. If you don’t have to take it until Jan then there’s no harm in trying? It appears under reward wallet and says ‘multi use’.

Yes that’s my plan to select it early neat year. Would seem rather unfair if it’s then only valid until the year end, and yet very generous if valid through to Dec ‘24.
Time to save a copy of the IHG T&Cs in advance of choosing. They tried stiffing me with no breakfast at Palazzo Vegas (an IC Alliance resort) based on that they never intended Diamond breakfast benefits to apply there, and would update their T&Cs soon to reflect that. Suffice to say I got compensated in lieu.

Good idea. Out of interest, was it the Palazzo LV or IHG that compensated you in the end?

IHG, Ambassador agents on email – very responsive albeit spouting the same nonsense. Initial offer of 10K points which I ratcheted up to meet the cash equivalent of breakfast.

Let me check my email archive for it. I’m pretty sure I just went to ‘contact us’ on the IHG website while logged in and for reasons likely due to my membership number being included in the email I got very quick responses.

I’ve had no joy via the contact us webchat via the app / desktop. It does seem to show the option of a Diamond ambassador however doesn’t seem to connect me to them.
