Seems Iberia was selling Avios flights for 50% on 6-7 May. I didn’t think HfP was such a Royalist website we missed hearing anything from it here (would have come very handy!)
It was mentioned in the chat thread one day over the weekend, I think very limited availability though.

It wasn’t just for Spanish members and not all Spanish members got it.
I manage 4 different accounts and two of them got the promo (one registered in Spain and the other in the UK). My brother and sister in law, both with Spanish address didn’t get it, neither some of my friends.
I call IB Platino number (as my account, being the address in Spain, having IB credit card and being the highest status didn’t get the promo) and told me that not every member got it, but the agent wasn’t unsure what was the criteria. I wasn’t the first asking about it.
At the end I managed to booked 4 business class MAD-LIM return tickets. 42.5k+£215 each.
I transferred some avios from Amex on Saturday and thanks god the avios arrived at 7am on Sunday. Then I used the new avios transfer option between accounts (27k for £15). We had lot of avios between all the accounts, but Iberia don’t have household accounts like BA.Thanks gtellez.
