    I recently took a 2 week BA holiday package to Jamaica travelling in business both legs. Less than a week after arriving in Jamaica my partner was awarded the requisite Avios and tier points – I wasn’t .
    We returned to the UK and again my partner got points awarded within a few days and then, about a week later, subsequently got the promised double tier points awarded – I still wasn’t given any points of any description?
    I tried to use the BA “claim missing Avios” form, but when I entered my ticket number the system kept refusing my request saying that I had to “wait 3 days” before I could claim, even though it was more than a week after our return?
    So I had to use the damn phone – my heart sinks every time I need to do this – I eventually got the call centre, explained my situation, was put on hold and promptly cut off.
    This happened twice, I must been on the call for 40+ minutes on both occasions , on the 3rd attempt I managed to get someone who didn’t hang up on me, however he wasn’t much help, said he was unable to help, said this issue needs to be dealt with by ????? customer service ?????
    Anyways he did log something because I got an automated BA email acknowledging my “case” – it doesn’t say what my query is about though ?
    I’ve since had 3 follow up automated emails advising that I haven’t been forgotten about, but tbh after 5 weeks, I sort of do feel forgotten.
    I looked on my EC account today to see if any points had been awarded and the flight and booking has completely disappeared from my “past bookings” history?
    Any of this sound familiar to anyone?
    Anyone got any idea of something that I could do to escalate or even just get some meaningful contact ?

    Past bookings only tend to loiter around for a month or so – I can’t see my February flights for example – so I wouldn’t worry about that.

    You don’t mention if you have any BA status, if not I’m afraid you are probably at the back of a fairly long queue.

    The emails confirm that something had been logged, and sadly five weeks+ is not unusual.

    I feel your pain at having to call!

    Have you contacted BA Holidays directly, as you say your trip was a package? They are often much more helpful and able to assist than the generic CS people. (In fact, this may have been what the person you actually did speak to meant).

    Literally, line for line this is EXACTLY what I keep having done to me. I have to call or go on live chat and nothing! My girlfriend who is blue get’s the avios and tier points straight yet I’m silver and am still chasing 3 weeks later as 0 tier points have been added. Every time I fly, I have to do the same thing and I hate it! Any luck?

    Hi I was in the same position with missing Avios/Tier points and BAH are more helpful and apparently they are the only ones who can apply the points to your account if it is a BAH booking no matter what BA Exec club or live chat say.

    If you are doing via live chat insist to be connected with BAH agent, they will check your details (our missing points were from April) and action it within 10 days (which they did).

    Exec Club and BA agents can only deal with flight only missing points.
