    Hi,

    Has anyone successfully resolved a missing Avios query from the Economist? I contacted them as they still haven’t arrived from October, and received this reply:

    Please see the below update from the Avios team.

    If customers have questions regarding their points they will need to contact Avios: https://www.avios.com/gb/en/contact-us

    Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance with regards to any aspect of your subscription.

    But it is not at all obvious who at Avios.com I should contact or how. Any advice would be appreciated. The Avios were 90% of the reason why I took out the subscription. 🙁

    It does not make sense Avios.com should be involved as this is a BAEC offer but they are. Email customerrelations@avios.com

    I had same problem and wasted hours on it both with Economist and Avios. In the End (maybe 3 months in) as Economist are the source of the problem I demanded a full subscription refund which they paid after some chasing.

    Then 2 months later Avios appeared in my account, then claimed back shortly after.

    Not worth the effort unless you really want an Economist subscription.

    Thanks! And yes, I won’t be taking out a subscription again. I’m finding The Economist less insightful and more predictable (ideological) than I used to…

    I’m banging my head against a wall with them currently. They’re now saying that I didn’t click on the correct partner link (I did!) but don’t know where to proceed from here!

    Said same to me, backed down when I pushed it. See post above as to how I resolved.
