Modifying a Qatar Airways award booking

I’m looking to change the date of a QR award flight but even though there are reward seats showing on the new date in the search screen, when trying to modify the booking to that date it just comes back with ‘no flights on that date’.

Does anyone know if you need to transfer the full avios amount to your QR account for it to allow you
to change, even if it’s the same amount as the original booking?

Or is it more likely a website glitch? I don’t want to cancel and rebook if I can help it.

There is no need to have additional avios in your Privilege Acc if the cost of the new flight is the same amount of avios.
There is a facility when logged into your account titled something like Change Award Flight
Another alternative if you have the avios is to make a new booking then cancel the existing one for a refund

Thanks, that’s what I would have expected so it looks like a website glitch then. It’s either a call to them or a cancel-and-rebook.
