Moving Avios from Executive Club account to Aer Lingus

I’ve tried to do this by telephone with BA Exec’ Club and online via both sites on Manage my account without any success. Can anyone advise how this can be done, and whether I can use my BA Companion voucher and/or BA e-voucher on an Aer Lingus flight?

You should be able to transfer on avios.com – I transferred the other way this morning.

However you need to book using your BAEC on ba.com to use the companion voucher.

Hi Steven, thanks or this. I have checked and my personal details on my executive club, Avios, and AerClub are the same. All of my Avios are in my executive club account, and my Avios account has a nil balance. When I go into my Avios account and try to combine my Avios [In an attempt to move the Avios from BA to Aer Lingus I get a message stating ‘Combine my Avios was unsuccessful’. I’ve written to Aer Lingus to see if they can help. It would be great to be able to do what Rob Burgess says in his article if only I could get them over from the executive club to aer club, but alas still no luck. Any further guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you earnt Avios in your Aer lingus account? If you’ve not earned any Avios direct into the Aer lingus account that might block a transfer (speculating on that)?

Thanks for this. Since my post I’ve managed to transfer sine AVIOS from BA EXEC’ into Iberia & and what BA seen to call partner’s Answering your question no I haven’t earned anything direct from Aer Lingus and may try to buy something from their e store to try and fix this.
