MR to Bonvoy to Bonvoy

Is it possible to transfer some of my MR points to a newly created Bonvoy account (I don’t have one yet) and to push those points immediately to another Bonvoy account (my brother’s – he needs a few more points for a redemption)?

Should be fine (once Amex restarts Bonvoy transfers) as long as your Bonvoy account is not brand new – there are often restrictions on what new accounts can do. You need to call to move Bonvoy points but it is free and instant up to 120k per year.

I have the same issue..Bonvoy no longer shows as an option, though I have transferred to them before and linked accounts.

I think the limit is 100k for transfers between Bonvoy accounts rather than 120k
