Bag Bonus points on your 1st three stays, convert points in both directions. Everything else is buried in the Ts&Cs
Earn 500 bonus Nectar for linking accounts
500 bonus Nectar points after each of the 1st 3 qualifying stays
Conversion rates are
-250 Nectar for every 500 Bonvoy points converted
-250 Bonvoy points for every 500 Nectar converted
Marriott account can only be linked to ONE Nectar, ever! Unlinking is possible but then you cannot EVER link that Bonvoy account to another Nectar account.
I turned my autoconversion Nectar->Avios off when this was announced at the end of last year to build up a pot for transfer. With those conversion rates I’ll be turning it back on…
indeed, it’s garbage. It’s barely worth linking for a 2000 nectar bonus.
At least it is simple and consistent.
You take something worth 0.5 pence and turn it into 0.25 pence.
Ha ha! Divide by 2 is indeed simple, but keeping the number the same would have been even better!
I don’t generally stay at many Marriott properties, but shifting to collecting a more convertible ‘currency’ than Avios is my current plan. Looks like that will just be MR points now and the Nectar will go to Avios as before. A shame
