Hi all,
I read an article the other day re Netherlands apparently still not allowing unvaccinated UK travellers in to country or those whose last booster was over 270 days before travel…
It does say further in same article that some frequent travellers via Schipol reported that the regulations are not actually being enforced now.
My wife & myself are going to Thailand via Schipol ( from manchester ) in early October , we are fully vaccinated but our boosters were done early December 2021, so will be outside the 270 day rule if it is still a thing ?
Anyone have any recent first hand experience of whats happening at Schipol currently ?
Thanks
If you are not entering the Netherlands it doesn’t matter.

270 day rule only applies to the ‘primary’ vaccination (that is, dose 1 & 2) – boosters are valid indefinitely.
Regulations weren’t even being enforced in April when I landed at Schipol – the only check I received in the entire trip was at the gate at Bristol – ‘are you fully vaccinated?’ ‘yep’ – no document check at alL!
Thanks both, one less thing to worry about !
I went to Amsterdam in early September for the Dutch Grand Prix with my son and daughter and they didn’t check our covid vaccination status
Been across Netherlands border twice recently. Nobody gives a flying poo about Covid.
While no one checks at the border, in order to check in online (I fly with BA every two weeks) you have to submit proof of vaccination and COVID-19 vaccine declaration; the latter you have to print a hard copy, complete, then take a photo and submit. It is rather a cumbersome and pointless exercise.

We flew KLM and, whilst there is a link to the covid vaccination status form to download it, we didn’t need to upload it and nobody checked the hard copies we had completed
RCHammer : So if we take hard copies of our NHS vaccination certificates with us ( were going to do that anyway ) – that should be sufficient, or do we also have to print anything during the online check-in process ?

To do online checkin you need to fill in VeriFLY just download app and put your details on there. You can add all your travelling companions on one form. I found it easier to do on iPad for some reason it wouldn’t accept photo on iPhone, but that is probably just me.

There seems to be a difference between flying BA and KLM. It seems from the responses here that BA require you to print and upload the dutch covid vaccination form to check in online whereas on KLM you don’t need to upload this to check in. In all cases the dutch government needs the form completing but doesn’t appear to check at the border
