New amex offers – BA spend £500 get £50 back and others

Reviewing all my Amex offers today I got an offer with BA: spend £500, get £50 back. Only for long haul economy or premium economy flights. It is only in my Amex rewards credit card (the free one). It could be useful to some people.
Then in the platinum cashback I got an offer of spend £25 anywhere get £5 back.
Nothing very interesting in my Platinum, Gold or Marriott cards.

On the BA offer. Anyone know if the itinerary is a mix of airlines (some BA, some Aer Lingus), whether the cashback will still trigger?
