Just noticed I have an IHG offer on my Gold card (£75 off £300).
However, it’s listed as “in store” only – I was hoping to book online.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to pay over the phone and get the credit? Or pay/book via a different more local IHG property?
Booking online is fine. The IHG hotels charge you when you directly.

Why would booking online be fine when it says “in store” only? Or am I missing something?
Because you pay ‘in store’ – ie at the hotel.

Book online, pay at hotel.
Booking online simply sends your CC number to the hotel’s computer. The hotel then processes the payment at the hotel when they feel like it.
At some IHG hotels, when the front desk is quiet, you can see staff manually typing in card numbers into the card machine.
I did notice this slightly odd clause in the offer terms though: “Offer includes payments made at the hotel on a hotel provided tablet”.
I see – the problem is I’m not staying there until next October. Offer expires in January I think so probably won’t be any good if they process the payment after that.
