New rounding up charge in UAE

I must have missed the notice but when did we start paying a ‘Rounding’ charge? I’ve just paid AED 18.40 for a coffee but on the receipt it says ‘Rounding AED .10’ making the bill AED 18.50. I know it’s not much but that’s on top of the Tip and the Donation and the Service Charge; now included in the dish price and not a separate line entry on the bill so you can’t ask them to remove it. Anyone else come across this or am I just being tight?

Isnt that like 2p of a difference

Have they got rid of small coins? You often see this in countries where smaller denomination coins have been wiped out, as will happen here when we eventually get rid of 1p and 2p coins.
