New tier year – no rolled over tier points for new shorter year

Well, surprise surprise, BA reset my account for the year ending 8 October, 2024, and took away my 1,750 tier points in Gold for the year, and never rolled over the tier points I got from April 2024 into my new shorter year ending 31 March, 2025, only the Avios – anybody else?

Takes a few weeks – it’s not automatic.

BA.com FAQ pages on this topic say

The credit of Tier Points will be applied 14 days after the start of your next Tier Point collection period. This will be presented in your BA Executive Club Statement as a Tier Point Adjustment (Tier Point Collection Year Change).

And I can confirm this is what happened when my TP collection year ended last month

You would have got an email a couple of weeks ago which explains the process.
