New to Amex, Business Platinum declined :(

I have 72k turnover in my business (it’s been one year ) 38k other income from my day job.

One other credit card but have only used it a handful of times.

Checked my credit score via Lloyds app which says I have 628/710 which is deemed excellent?

How do people get over 710 when it seems this is the maximum?

Do you think it’s worth applying for the personal platinum or should I wait a while.

Your credit score is meaningless. No one sees or cares about it but you (and you shouldn’t either for that matter).

Turnover is also not a useful measurement. Profit is key. The fact your business has only been running one year is against you as well.

There’s an eligibility checker. I’d recommend using that and having a look at the likelihood of acceptance it spits out.

I’m pretty sure that the card carries personal liability so they probably care more about you than the company.
