Hi all,
We have one old style 2-4-1 voucher in our account and should trigger a new style one in the next few months.
We’re targeting a week in the Caribbean next Spring for two of us. At the moment I could just about book something in March ’23 but very limited availability and not much choice of island. If we wait for the new voucher to trigger, what kind of availability should we expect? For example, is there a way of seeing what’s available to book now for December this year?
Many thanks.
I had a quick look on my wife’s account and it’s not great in Jan/Feb to Barbados or Antigua probably because BA isn’t offering a lot of discounted I class for cash.
There’s not much “extra” availability on Caribbean routes, I think it’s too easy for BA to sell the seats. Have you looked at NAS (Bahamas)? Availability can be quite good and people often don’t consider it because it’s a LHR departure, not LGW.
Or Bermuda? Always loads of F seats for some reason! Accommodation and living costs are eye-wateringly expensive though.
Had a quick search on ITA matrix which helped me find something for MIA next summer when my voucher was tied up in a FTV. Found nada to GND or BGI but you could try more airports. Advanced code is “f bc=i”. Use “BA” in the routing code to limit to BA flights
