No bonus for buying points, options with bonuses show up and disappear

Hi, all. The 60% bonus for buying points seems to be an open offer. However, upon the release of the article by HFP, the offer did not immediately appear in my account. However, later that same day, it did eventually shows up. Today, when I decided to buy some points, the options with the bonus disappeared again. I reached out to customer service. Their response, quite interesting, was, “As a gold member, you should have access to the offer, even if it is targeted.” But they can not figure out why it is not there. Does anyone have a similar situation?

as a silver member who never had an e mail the 60% bonus points wasnt showing friday offer appeared late saturday but has gone now

My wife and I dont seem to have the email but logged on to both our accounts an d it confirms the 60% bonus.

I went to buy 100,000 points (160,000) but there is no mention of the bonus and nor is there any option to buy 200,000.

Anyone have a similar issue?

Call up Virgin flying club, reference the offer and buy over the phone. Don’t click to buy on points.com unless you are seeing the bonus miles at the checkout.

I second this, as a general bit of advice. If the website lets you do something, great. If it doesn’t, there’s a lot of good VS agents out there who are willing to make things happen by phone.
