I tried to book LGW->Malaga at the usual 1 am cutoff point for next May half term (end May) and was surprised to see only LHR and city. Looks like LGW flights stop on 23rd of May; checked a few different routes where Euroflyer goes daily and it seems to be the case.
Does HfP have any insights as to whether they are late releasing the flights this year? And / or when they might release them?
Booked outbound from LHR and debating my strategy for return leg as LGW far more convenient…
Euroflyer routes sometimes don’t conform to the daily 1 am pattern, e.g. if BA is changing the schedule a few weeks’ or months’ worth might appear at once.
I think the only option is to keep checking as AFAIK SeatSpy can only alert you to “London” departures” and not the individual airports.
Don’t wait for Euroflyer, book LCY or LHR flights.
I think that Euroflyer release flights a bit later, I’m sure I had a similar experience last year when looking for flights.
Where they are available, April and May 2024 seem crazy expensive. (At least they are for Rhodes, ET are double Heathrow prices.) I know prices take a while to settle but I thought only a few days…
A big chunk of April will be Easter school holidays, and May has 2 bank holiday weekends plus half term at the end of the month. But as you say, hopefully the prices for the latest available dates will come down a bit in a couple of weeks.
BAEF seems to have plane problems at the moment, it has Titan Airways operating for them today. There are LGW-AGP flights for sale on Thursday 22nd May 25, but not 23rd May 25.
So you’re the reason I couldn’t book Malaga on that day?? 😀
I fell asleep and by the time i woke up in the morning there were only CE flights left, although i managed to book for the Sunday.
lol MattB, I only booked 4 seats and there are a few flights per day! With the already released easyJet flights for next May already very expensive, I am not surprised other HfP readers are trying to get them.
